House of GAL Power Brunch
A Celebration of Creativity, Community, and Purpose
Lady Tink Power Brunch Feature Blog
The House of GAL created the Power Brunch as more than a
gathering it is a moment to shine light on our mission, showcase our
Mechanical Arts Program, and raise the resources we need to grow.
We believe that every Lady in the House has her own way of contributing to the greater good and when we come together, our impact multiplies.
Welcome To Our House
The TIKÉ BEL Foundation is part of the House of GAL, a living universe of women-led missions. Each Lady carries her own torch, her own cause, and her own way of giving back and together, we create something larger than the sum of our parts.
Beautiful people, I am Lady Tink. The founder of the TIKÉ BEL Foundation, a heart-led movement dedicated to nurturing people, restoring the earth, and uplifting communities through purpose, beauty, and legacy. Focusing on community care, environmental restoration, and global initiatives that meet needs from food relief to eco-housing.
Ti Kè Bel means “little beautiful heart” in Haitian Creole.
And that’s exactly what this foundation is, a small yet powerful heart beating for the Earth, for our communities, and for every soul that still believes in restoration.
At the power brunch, I shared just a glimpse of our mission but there's so much more in motion. We also stand for reforestation, education, and global aid especially for my home country Haiti.
Why We Created the Mechanical Arts Program
The Mechanical Arts Program was born from a simple truth: hands-on skills build confident minds and open hearts.
In our community, we have many talented young people with the potential to become builders, designers, engineers, and innovators but too often, they lack the access, mentorship, or resources to bring their visions to life.
The program provides:
Scholarships to help with educational costs
Mentorship from experts in technical and creative fields
Workshops for practical learning
Opportunities to showcase projects and gain community recognition
Our goal is to invest in the next generation of thinkers, makers, and problem-solvers because their ideas will shape the future we all live in.
Cultural Legacy
Haiti's very own constitution once required arts education as a core part of its vision for the nation's future. This wasn't just about trades, it was about building a self sustaining, skilled society where creativity and practical knowledge worked hand in hand.
Mechanical Vision Scholarship
Our scholarship is dedicated to supporting talented individuals pursuing education to supporting talented individuals pursuing education in arts, science, wellness, and innovation especially those who uplift communities and foster healing.
I am thrilled to announce that our Mechanical Vision Scholarship recipient is Rebeccah Milton, a dedicated and talented student at AITE. She is going to Wentworth Institute of Technology, pursuing a career in architecture.
Rebeccah’s passion for building, design, and community development embodies everything this scholarship was created to support.
Here’s what Rebeccah shared in her own words:
“I feel so honored to be chosen as a recipient of this scholarship, not only because I'll be able to further support the cost of my education, but because I also truly feel seen as a young woman that is entering an unconventional career of arts integrated with technology. In addition to the financial support, I feel that this scholarship can become a source of encouragement and support for more young women of diverse backgrounds to persist and remain resilient in their true passions and careers!”
Our Leadership
We extend heartfelt thanks to our guests, donors, and supporters who make moments like this possible. Every smile, every shared story, every gift it all builds the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
