This August, the House of GAL unveiled a new tradition: our First Annual Power Brunch, hosted by Lady Royalty, guardian of Private Royal Teas, the ceremonial sector of the Pink Lady Universe. Known for her grace, elegance, and gift of bringing people together, Lady Royalty set the stage for a gathering that was more than an event; it was an experience, a celebration, and the beginning of a legacy.

This annual brunch is dedicated to raising funds for the Mechanical Arts Program and the Mechanical Vision Scholarship initiatives that empower creativity and innovation. With every plate served, every performance shared, and every gift offered, Lady Royalty reminded us why ceremonies matter. They are opportunities to nourish body, spirit, and community all at once.

The Setting: A Royal Touch

Lady Royalty carried the brunch atmosphere with her signature eye for detail, not only in what was seen but in how the gathering itself was shaped. The tables were arranged in a great circle, an intentional design choice symbolizing unity, equality, and activation.

In the circle, every guest could see one another, share space as one mind, and feel included in the collective vision. It was a way of saying: no one is above or below, we are all part of something greater together. The circle became its own ceremony, a reminder that the Power Brunch was not just a meal, but a gathering of souls called to align, learn, and uplift each other.

`The Refreshments Bar

Guests were welcomed with a refreshment spread designed to delight the senses. The bar featured Pink Power Punch, a cooling pink lemonade, crisp lemon-cucumber water, ice water, and an array of snack bites and sweets. Each detail reflected Lady Royalty’s love for creating moments of pause, where guests could sip, savor, and connect.

The Coffee & Tea Corner

For those who prefer cozy comforts, the Coffee and Tea Corner was a great treat. Freshly brewed coffee and aromatic teas provided grounding warmth, a reminder that even in celebration, stillness and conversation matter. It became a favorite gathering spot for guests to mingle.

No brunch is complete without a culinary experience that delights the senses and Chef Carline of Heavenly Spice Soul Food delivered exactly that. For our Power Brunch, she prepared a light brunch that was absolutely delicious. Every bite was a celebration of flavor and authenticity.

Thankful to have Chef Carline of Heavenly Spice Soul Food prepared a light brunch for us and it was absolutely delicious. The drinks were refreshing, the food was great, and the vibes made it unforgettable.

Her specialty lies in authentic Caribbean cuisine, crafted with love and attention to detail. Beyond the food, her signature drinks became moments of joy themselves; beverages so indulgent they doubled as desserts, each crafted with care and vibrant flair. Different colors, playful touches, and creative combinations set the celebratory mood and got everyone in the brunch vibes.

Heavenly Spice Soul Food isn’t just about feeding people it’s about creating an experience for every occasion. From special celebrations to intimate gatherings, Chef Carleen brings heart, soul, and professional excellence to every plate and pour. At this brunch, the food was heavenly, the drinks unforgettable, and the energy absolutely contagious.

To honor our guests, the House of GAL prepared a special gift table. Each attendee left with grab-and-go treasures coffee boxes, Chef Carline’s homemade specialty drinks, and body washes a gesture of gratitude for being part of this milestone gathering.
